To improve the school I think that they should turn on the heating in each class. Another thing I would improve is the wash rooms, it's discusting to walk in and see it dirty and not be able to wash my hand because the fossits don't work. The last thing i would improve would be the text books it disturbes me to see private parts drawn in my text book and pages missing.
 
 
 
 

To make the world a better place i would encourage people to join groups to help stop poverty everywhere in the world, groups people could join are ONE and Make Poverty History. I Would also encourage shopping at stores that don't use sweatshops, although that is tough i believe that one by one it can make a difference, if businesses would stop using sweatshops to make their cloths it would encourage my point further. See my business venture below to have an example of a non sweat shop clothing store. One store that i know of that does not use sweatshops is American Apparel. In the world we see a lot of celebrities encouraging these causes, Bono of U2 speaks for the ONE campaign, Raine of Our Lady Peace speaks for the Make Poverty History and also believes in not using sweat shops. I believe that if we begin to encourage these causes we can make a better life for someone else.

      One of the assignments we had to do in class was to answer a set of questions concerning possible 
 career choices for the future. The program was called Career Cruising. After answering each set of 
 questions we saw results based on our answers. The top 2 most likely careers appear at the very top.

     Another assignment we had was to write a short memo to our teacher explaining what a possible 
 business venture will be about. Below you will see a copy of that letter:

Dear Leo Steinberger,

      I would like to make a clothing store,  the clothing would mostly be sweat pants, sweaters, shirts and shoes. The clothing store would be non sweat shop based. The name of the store would Base Sweat. I would locate it Downtown near St.Cathrine. 
      In one store i would have four workers on the weekday and 5 on the weekend. During the week 1 worker would be on cash, another for the stock and 2 people selling on floor and if needed one from floor will go to cash 2. On the weekend there would be 1 main cash,1 helping out with stock in the back and 3 on the floor and if needed another would go cash.
      The things i would need in my store to start my business is; A cash , the cloths, the wokers, changing rooms and enough stock to last. After i would get all this planned out i would open my store i figure it would talk about a year or two to start. 
      The catch phrase for my buisness would be, "Its not just any BS....its Base Sweat syle". To promote my store i would have flyers to hand out and posters on walls down town, i would also have adds demonstarting somethings we have. I would also put ads in a Magazine to attract young viewers. Thank you for being interested in my buissness I truly know it will be a success.
